spianato et grande polonaise brilliance.Different form
Argerich's version of the latter,it is a concerto,directed
by Reiner. That's really excellent, especially with the help
of Reiner.( I think Reiner is really a master, when he
cooperates with Heifetz in brahms's violin concerto,he
greatly enhance the overal performance;when Munch cooperated
with Heifetz, the combination is very bad.)
I also have Pollini's 24 etudes,which I think is the best

I have the Perahia version. That is a live recording, so
with some
surronding noise. However, the performance is great. Perahia
is the
kind of pianist who can dig out the most subtle details of
the works.
Somebody claim that Argerich is masuline player while
Perahia is faminine.
Superficially, it makes sense. Anybody can give further
analysis?
By the way, How is Zimmermann's piano concerto?
I bought a complete collection of Chopin's piano works by
Ashkenazy,
and at that time I really admired him
