Unlike those very realistic or rather popular or mandune novlels, Mann's story
is philosophical and passionate. I think it is due to the totally different
ways of writing. There are basically two types of writing: (1) write about
your experience and then forming into thoughts;(2) Write about your thoughts
and then fit it into experience. Many writers belong to the first type. These
maybe a very naive and yet intuitive way of distinction. Mann, as a
philosophical novelist, in his artisitcly flawl
