I really enjoy listening to Mahler 's no.1. It is so dynamical and full
of life, especially the first movement. It is so youthful. He was 27. He
wanted nothing but becoming a composer. It is like a rite of spring or
rather a rite of himself and his virgin symphony. It is serious but full
of youthful passion and longings. He call his first movement the "nature
awakening of long winter", which is full of birdsongs, childlike dreams,
spring brook, country festivals, in the heart of the forrest, c
