Hey, I am looking for a research topic to start my research work.
Can some one recommend some "good " topics for me?
I am not interested in large programming work, so building large systems may
not be good for me.

good的意思是说这个topic很有意思未来也很有用途如果真正喜欢做
并且有条件做很可能作出大成果来
but的意思是说这个topic的funding很多来自军方不是us citizen
你以后不要想找到什么合适的对口工作而且目前quantum computer还没有
真正出现所以这个topic基本还是理论为重广泛的实际应用短期内看不到希望
我quantum computing的老教授说至少30年才能出现真正的quantum computer
当然一些实验室性质的quantum computer除外了
