So what(kind of ) software is usually uesd in real company?
I know it is associated with OLAP,but it must have some special ones for
itself???

Yeah, it's a hot research topic in recent years.
One interesting application I heard of was a guy from IBM
who used data mining technologies to analyze NBA games. He
has his own company now...
