I've installed the Oracle Developer 6.0 successfully under
Windows 2000. But when I tried to install Oracle8 Personal
Edition Release 8.04.0.0 for Windows, I got the error
message -
"Unable to delete the NT Service for the SQL *Net V2
Listener"
the setup then aborted. If I attempt to reinstall it, it
shows -
"Oracle Installer: Orainst.exe - Application Error
...................The memory could not be "read""
PS> I was able to install the same software under Windows NT
4.0.
Does Oracle8 even supp
