刚刚在windows95上装了Oracle8，运行任何程序
都先出现一个对话框，需要填入usename, password，
service, conect as, 这其中的service填些什么，
我只想在自己的机器上练习练习，该如何操做？
请Oracle高手们耐心从最出指点，多谢

What programs are you running? Different programs should require different
login name and passwd.
If you are running manager server, you need sysman/passwd.
If you login to enterprise manager, username is the oracle database account.
Service is the database service name: hostname:1521:SID

oracle database账号呢?

Default database account/passwd:
internal/oracle (this passwd can't be changed. It can be used only when you
login with oracle unix account)
system/manager
sys/change_on_install

which version of oracle server r u using? Maybe the
interface drivers doesn't compatiable, I am not sure about
this. I installed Oracle8.05 and developer 6 under win2000
on same computer, they r working fine.

Register first, and you can download all software (full functioned,
trial license).

Pls try login by
INTERNAL
and the password when you created database password it ask
you do it.
and the host maybe you SID (database name).
