I wanna put "$0.00" on a report, but the default for zero
value is blank space, how can I change the setup in the
query or table?

try to set the default value is 0. also the type is currency

BTW, you can do so in table design

then try to define the format as
$#,##0.00;($#,##0.00);"$0.00";"$0.00"
Then null or zero value will be replaced by $0.00
the default value should be 0
