ECO是borland推出的一个mda产品。它使用uml技术，把传统的编程方式转换为通过模型
驱动的方式。使uml与实际的程序设计紧密的结合。在C#Builder架构版中的ECO框架，还
神奇的结合了数据库技术，使传统的数据库应用开发发生了巨大变化。borland网站上有
BDNtv，专门介绍这一技术。

I remember rational rose has some program similar...
wait, I dont see anything that cool or special ah, I just feel the
demo is the old delphi stuff... did I miss something?

Yes, Rational XDE did the same work.
Yes, you are right. It's not new tech. We use UML in Jbuilder and eclipse
already. What ECO does is just putting UML and Borland's data control to .Net.
The cool part is C# builder does a better job than visio in VS.Net.
I used VS.Net enterprise architect. It's not a good feeling.
My point here is: Borland is ahead in Modeling area.

I don't believe this kind of tools is gonna be success....well, the
defination of "success" is very tricky:-). Anyway, Visual Age failed.
That is a lesson.

It will shine in enterprise area. :)
I hope so. At lease now I am pushing myself hard to use MDA.
