Dear RSVP,
Finally time has arrived, it's now only 2 days left over for the Rally at DC
. We all are looking forward to it and make 1 loud voice for our request to
be heard.
Are you all ready? I'm ready and excited and can't wait anymore.
Below are few things that you need to make sure on Rally day - NOV 16th 2015
1.We’re skilled immigrants so have to be professionally dressed up. I
suggest White shirt and Gray trouser for Male/Female – Just to have uniform
gesture. When media is shooting this and while we’re on air, everyone out
there who see us should definitely think about our unity togetherness and
legitimate demands. Just to keep simple straight and not to be displayed as
circus show one wearing this and other wearing something else.
2. We need 4 to 5 Peoples from RSVP volunteer to help us to do job as
Marshals on the rally day and should be able to locate Police officer if
required patrolling around white house - Not scare but to enhance safety and
security.
3. Please bring Placards which has stick, Banners, Hand held sign boards etc
of your choice with message of your choice displayed on it. It is highly
advised to RSVP'd volunteer either local to DC or coming from nearing states
NY, NJ etc should bring it as it's impossible to manage it from our end as
we're coming from far states and difficult to board this on aircraft.
4. Cost for making placards, banners will be reimbursed if you preserve
valid receipts.
5. We're on other hand trying to raise funds to reimburse travelling cost,
food but cannot guarantee it - it depends upon amount of fund raised.
6. Portable Audio system will be managed by Mr Pramod who is local to DC.
7. Please kindly preserve all the receipts for the expense involved for Food
and Travelling and we will try to do our best - but again not guarantee.
8. The only purpose of this Rally is to make constitution and public aware
about extreme hardship faced by Skilled Immigrants and request them
peacefully to step in and provide immediate relief.
9. I request you all to have good professional code of conduct during rally
as we are skilled immigrants. Do not get into fight - verbal or physical
with any one whatsoever.
10. There is lot of Media coverage, so when reached by Media person speak
diplomatically sensible on the issues rather than finger pointing and
possible demands why we're here (points available on Handouts)
