Air China's New Free Baggage Allowance for International Travel

As of September 1, 2011, Air China will introduce new guidelines for free
baggage allowance on international flights. Air China applies the baggage
piece concept allowance on all international flights.
If Air China operates the geographically longest or most significant flight
of the international journey, the free baggage allowance is as follows:
First Class or Business Class passengers are allowed up to two pieces of
baggage free of charge, each weighing no more than 32kg (70 lbs).
On flights to/from Japan and Americas, Economy Class passengers are
allowed up to two pieces of checked baggage free of charge, each weighing no
more than 23kg (50 lbs).
On flights that are not to/from Japan and Americas, Economy Class
passengers are allowed one piece of checked baggage free of charge, weighing
no more than 23kg (50 lbs).
