想架一个VPS server, just for fun. 如果感觉不错，也可以作为一个 permanent
development environment as well as hosting a few non-critical websites. 哪
位可以推荐一个自己用过的service？I may need a linux and a w2k3/8 server. 价
格最好
低于$30, 再高的的话不如用家里的VMWare了。

嗨！我需要做一个data presentation给project的sponsor看。目前打算做几个charts
和tables，大家觉得这样能行吗？
以前没有做过data presentation，因为以前都是直接把data放在appendix里面的。希
望能够得到一些建议。谢谢！

想便宜的话，可以试试http://www.webkeepers.com/ ，不过没有技术支持的。
我也没有用过。

技术支持不重要。只要死机的时候rebuild a new instance就行了。backup还是自己做
最放心。
不知道能否create snapshots like VMWare?

这个 www.webkeepers.com 也太便宜了吧，比业界常用的这两个
slicehost.com
linode.com
便宜到姥姥家去了，
比我最近发现的 prgmr.com 还便宜，不知道早其他方面有没有 tricks

search 了一下，好像没有什么 user experience, it is kind of weird, if it is
good and so damn cheap...

是没有任何技术支持的，所以便宜。
这种公司差不多就1-2个人就够了。

I end up choosing 1and1.com VPS. it cost twice as much as webkeepers.com,
but gives a lot more confidence that they wont screw up as often.

I had bad experience with 1and1 dedicated server, as far as you stick what
they got no new stuff you want to add, it seemed fine.
But i tried to add python support to their apache server it was pain as
ass, i just kicked them away...
