xftc, it takes a lot of commitment and skills to be in your field,
especially at your level. She's asking about M. Ed. in counseling, so she's
probably thinking about school counseling, which is going to be hard without
US teaching experience. Plus she asks about prospect of career
opportunities in China... I personally think the M. Ed. in counseling
program is more geared toward serving the unique US system.

school counseling people shared core courses with us, they can work in both
school setting or community settings(like my job). My boss got calls from
families requesting me to work on their case,it was so rewarding to have
people recognize you as "pro"and appreciate your hard work.
I went through the hard times where families would not believe my skills,
now I am out of the deepest darkest days, you will accomplish if you try. We
