Most of the college level Ed. Psych textbooks in the US
are written around Piaget and Vygotsky (of course, plus
some more Skinner, Erikson, Multiple Intelligence, etc.).
Seems to me that they don't tend to spend a whole lot of time
in the history of education and epistemology here.
