本科是自动化控制的，申请时选的control和robotics方向，结果没有control的老师要
我。跟了一个做assitive robotics的老师。
我以后是做那种机器手臂，附带图像处理和运动控制，是给那些瘫痪病人用的机器手。
类似的方向在美发展前景大么？
不知robotics在美国总体就业前景如何？

but negative is more like /A/.
which dictionary do you use? I use webster merriam.

这取决于什么地方的美国人吧。我听过negative发地像net，也有像nate,也有像nap.

I think I understand what you meant. "e" in your example negative sounds
closer to "a" as in ate. In actuality, I think both "e"s should sound the
same. The variation was probably due to accent differences.

control and robotics在美国总体的就业前景一般，很多工作是军工项目，没有绿卡或
不是公民的话没有希望，医疗器械算是一个可行的选择吧
