Can PING/Telnet with IP address but not with Server name# EmergingNetworking - 热门网络技术

AIX 5.2 Server
Windows XP client
Intranet with DNS server
Using IP can ping/telnet to the server, but using server name doesn't work.
On Windows machine, Server name is added into hosts file.
Any clue or way to test what is the problem?
