为什么好像这些大公司都没有什么特别好的provisioning system，随着services越来越
unified，俺觉得一套好的provisioning system真是带来太多好除了

I think they know what they are doing and what they are going to do, that is,
they do everything about services. During the bubble years, IBM is one of the
few companies who still were doing well

have you used that, just installed that, seems to be very powerful,
but junoscope is probably sufficient for most basic functions
good thing about SDX is to cover both backbone and edge networking gears

i think big companies have inherit drag. the decision making process is
unthinkable and by who-should-better-not-be-named; the bug-fixing and
feature enhancement process will take forever, if ever. smaller companies
are more agile.
it's a shame most small companies are founded with the goal of being bought
by big guys.

i don't care if they want to make money.
but in this form even v. good companies have life cycle:
either start -> success -> buy more -> collapse -> close shop or be bought
or start ->success -> be bought
makes us customers v. tired in keeping up with the changes.

pardon me, but it sucks.
i.e. qos is not to be configured within the app, firewall rules
are configurable but limited(not flexible enough). and it's a
frankenstein stapled together by ldap, radius, and some other apps.
recent upgrade has better web front end, but that's it.
however, it's made for ISPs, whose network doesn't have the
complexity we have. i know they have some big ISP customers.
(hope i'll not be sued by juniper. :P )
