Operation Research = Industrial Engineering ?

我看到不少学校的 Financial Engineering 和 Operation Research 都是放在一起，
比如Columbia 和 Princeton, 请问 Operation Research 专业（有时候会被叫做
Industrial Engineeering, 或者 Systems Engineering) 和 Financial Engineering
学的东西区别大不大？我看到不少人都说 Systems Engineering 和 Operation
Research 以及 Industrial Engineering 很接近，是不是真的？
下面几个学校是我查到的有这些专业的，哪一个会更好一些？
Columbia - Operation Research (MS)
Princeton - Operation Research (MS)
U Penn - Systems Engineering (MSE)
Cornell - Systems Engineering (M.Eng)
另外还有两个 Industrial Engineering 的第一第二学校，

Just my 2 cents:
OR and FE are relevant simply because FE uses OR techniques such as
optimization
and stochastic process theory. I personally do not classify FE as part of OR
. But since the job market says so, I will not deny. But 20 years ago,
typical OR
applications were revenue management, not FE.
OR, IE AND SE are all broad interdisciplinary programs. And in some sense
they
are interchangable. Well, actually OR and IE are siblings because both
emphasize "mathematical modeling" and heavily u
