A friend told me that quite a few leaders for those big name IT companies are
college drop-outs. And I'm surprised to find how true this is! Just name a
few:
Bill Gates, Microsoft, Harvard Drop out
Lawrence Joseph Ellison, Oracle, U of Illinois Drop out
Michael Dell, Dell Computer, U of Texas Austin Drop out
Jerry Yang,Yahoo!, Stanford Drop out
...
U guys have more to add?

Jerry Yang was in Stanford PhD program, shouldnot be counted as a COLLEGE
dropout. otherwise, I am also a college dropout le, coz I didnot take
a postdoc offer.

actually holding a BS/MS degree is much safer in landing a CEO job than
without a degree. If you research on those top 100 companies' CEOs, I am
sure the majority, overwhelmingly have MS' degrees.

Well, he dropped out of the PhD program halfway so he still counts as a grad
school drop out. U r not drop out because you didn't even start your postdoc.
How can you drop out? hehe
