有6个球，三个各重a克，另外三个各重b克，b>a，但不知道具体各是多少
用天平称三次，确定哪三个是重球，哪三个是轻球。
每次两边放相同个数的球，每次称量怎么选球无视前面称量的结果。

在Matlab 1.6下运行程序是出现如下错误：
failed to find MEX-File on path: sortrowsc.dll
而sortrowsc.dll确实存在于工作目录下（c:\MyWorkSpace），环境变量也设好了。在
运行mglinstaller。exe后生成的那个目录（bin\win32）下也放了这个sortrowsc.dll
按照如下说法，貌似这样做就足够了：

This is a bug in the MGLINSTALLER with the C/C++ Math Library 2.2. This
problem has been fixed in MATLAB C/C++ Math Library 2.4 (R13).
If you are using a previous version, see the information below:
This error occurs because the client computer does not have the MEX-file
sortrowsc.dll. This MEX-file does not come packaged with the mglinstaller.
In order to distribute a stand-alone application that calls sort rows,
sortrowsc.dll and/or sortcellchar.dll, must also be distributed. The
libraries can be placed in the same directory as the executable or in the
bin\win32 directory created by the MGLINSTALLER.
不过还是不行。求大虾们指点。现在一个在matlab下运行的library

拜托有经验之谈的朋友帮忙拿个主意：
4年工作经验: 10% wasterwater process design, 10% water main replacement
design, 80% water resource, wastewater collection system design, SSES
美国Master,国内本科，Both环境
请问选Environmental的PE有利还是Civil(am)+Water Resource/Environment(pm）有利？

it would be a much simpler problem without the last constraint:P
i can prove that every time you have to put two balls on each side, but
simple-minded construction seems not working. does such a solution exist?

u can compare 2 references for these 2 type of exams.
I got an impression that exam for Env. PE might be better in ur case.
it is not very hard to pass such exam for Chinese graduates.

WARNING: for completeness, i spent some time writing down the proof, but it'
s pretty messy, so most of you might want to skip the details.
here is a sketch:
there are 3 outcomes for each weighing:
left side heavier (L), balanced (E), right side heavier (R)
so total of 3*3*3=27 outcomes.
note there are only C(6,3)=20 ways of picking 3 balls out of 6.
let's label the balls from 1 to 6. if there exists a way to fulfill the

Wow ... Still use Matlab version 1.6??? Can you upgrade the version? That
would be the most convenient way I think.

Actually personally I believe that it doesn't exist.

unfortunately, so far all i have been doing is just exhausting all the
possibilities...
