Gently raise the vines from the ground from the tip of the vine all the way
and stop at the spot where you planted the sweet potato. Put the vines
wherever you want, but NOT on top of each other. This will increase the
yield of your sweet potato.

Minimize water. You can cut some leaves as vegetable but not a large
percentage. Leaf growth should slow down with lower water supply. If the
area is low, you need to have a drainage ditch. If it is on slope, no need
to do anything.
