学术界有公平吗？学术界和我们生活的世界一样公平。
桥直。蛋子哥发明了线性规划的单纯形算法，但是没有
获得炸药奖。
康托洛维奇发明了一类线性规划问题的算法，却得到了
炸药奖。
这个公平的误差有多大？
哈罗德。寇恩和纳什都是塔克的学生。寇恩对非线性规划
的贡献，对整个最优化领域有着决定性的影响。纳什提出
了纳什均衡的概念。纳什获得了炸药奖，但是寇恩没有。
有很多做博弈论的大佬们都获得了炸药奖。他们的贡献真
的比蛋子哥的贡献大吗？

serious, big-time fun in Manhattan are for tourists, and for people who don'
t have to work, regardless rich or otherwise (often translates to "artistic"
).

这就是我的point，是因为工作大家没办法，只能找近的地方住。
我提了无数遍了，有人还偏偏ignore。
自己动动脑子也就知道了，星期一到五像dog一样工作，enjoy city life个p，如果真
enjoy city life，那周末为什么不呆在城里enjoy啊？全一个一个的跑到郊区去干嘛了？
看那帮人什么逻辑，还enjoy city life那，都是口是心非得家伙。

刚才带豆豆出门便便，豆豆正在进行中，
俺不小心打了个嗝，豆豆受到惊吓，立马停止。
俺纳闷，今天怎么拉那么少，只有1条半。。。
正要领着往回走，豆豆死活蹬着绳子不走，回头一看，原来已经做了下蹲的姿势。。。
又拉了3条半。

you are right.
throughout history, cities, metropolitans are formed to facility one purpose
and one purpose only -- Commerce.
people get together to exchange, to trade, to buy low, to sell high...
to find customers, to find clients, to get patients, to get shoppers...
and once here, people use goods, use services, become customers, and become
clients, become patients, become shoppers...
from small to big, to large to huge...
replayed again and again all across the world and throughout the time.
the processes are similar and the principles are exactly the same.
Art life develops, intellectual/educational life develops, social/fashion
groups develop...many people devote their life into these areas...but such
diversity and cultural richness are not there in vaccum. They exist still
mainly to serve the BIGGER purpose-- Business and Commerce.
Coming back to the root of all cities: it's for more business, more money
City is about making money, and becoming rich.
The rest, as they say, are lubricants.

有诺奖级别的发现的人，大概没有时间在这里浏览，

我只是想说没有绝对的公平。因此应该开心过好每一天。

是的。但是其实是不公平的。
A的了炸药奖。
B做了杰出贡献，没得奖（也许得了很多其他奖）
过了2百年.
大家总谈论B，因为他得WORK还在被使用，被讨论，被敬仰。
A如果从坟里出来，他肯定觉得这个世界是不公平的。为什么我得了奖，大家却不崇拜
我，讨论我？？？
A会很伤心。所以A应该明白，世界不是公平的。
