老婆刚拿到ITIN，考虑build credit for a long run，想给她开个credit card。网上搜了搜，看网上众说纷纭，所以干脆自己试验了一下：
(1) Amazon Chase: Pending
动机：
申这个是因为这个申请上明确说可以使用ITIN. Quote:
“Requirements: You must be a U.S. Resident, have a U.S. Social Security
number (SSN) or U.S. Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN), and
be at least 18 years old (19 in AL and NE).”

结果：Pending
"Thank you for applying for the Amazon.com Rewards Visa Card.
Unfortunately, an immediate decision about your application can not be
provided as it requires further review. You will be notified in writing

(2) AMEX Hilton Honor: (To fax/call)
动机：
网上很多说AMEX接受ITIN
结果：
先让打电话，然后说需要SSA certificate SSN validity。如实说没有SSN，只有ITIN
，磨叽了半天，我提议把denial letter of SSA和approval notice of ITIN发过来review，CSR也同意，但不能保证review结果。又打了两个电话，好的是都没有说只有ITIN没SSN不行，但是大体都是要我找出个说法。所以估计就是先把上面材料发过去，等等看吧。
(3) Citi Forward
结果：直接不让提交, "there is a system error"
(4) BOA Cash Rewards
结果：这里本来有个checking，结果跟citi一样，直接说SSN not valid，都不让提交。
(5) capital one
结果：直接pending，说7到10天给结果。
总之，看到了，以上都不是很乐观。不行的话，估计哪天到BOA local branch开个secure credit card试试。请问大家有什么成功（包括Argue后）经验吗？另外，未来拿到SSN后，ITIN期间的credit history能够成功关联吗？谢谢！
