Experience can be obtained through your educational level research and/or
relevant job/internship experiences.
Qualifications include:
- Minimum three years research experience in high-speed and low-power analog
and/or mixed-signal circuits and deep sub-micron Complementary Metal-Oxide
Semiconductor (CMOS) chip design.
- Understanding of data communication concepts such as equalization and
modulation schemes are strongly preferred.
- Knowledge in industry standard IO buses such as PCIe, DDR, USB, HDMI, etc.
is desirable
- Publication history in top-tier circuit conferences and journals.
- Knowledge of electromagnetic as applied to signal integrity considerations
and packages would be an added advantage.
- Circuit design CAD environment (schematic entry, SPICE simulation), and
working knowledge of layout tools.
- Software proficiency and/or scripting skills (Perl, Python, Tcl, Ruby, C/C
++).
Responsibilities
Intel Platform Validation Engineering (PVE) is looking for an post-graduate
circuit engineer to join our Validation Silicon Engineering (VSE) team.
Candidate will be expected to perform multiple aspects of circuit and
silicon product development including specification, analysis, design, and
test/debug of circuit IPs and IO Transceivers.
Successful candidate will demonstrate solid knowledge of high-frequency and
high-speed analog circuits, has strong written and verbal communication, and
strong interpersonal skills.
