等了近8个月，终于等到了好消息.
Background:
ME phd from a so so university, currently working in one of the top oil
service companies as a Scientist.
8 journal papers, 14 conference proceedings, and 2 pending patent
applications.
60 Citations from 11 countries and 30 research institutes.
8 reference letter (4 independent, 3 international) + 2 new letter (1
independent + 1 from current boss (top in my current field));
24 reviews from 4 different journal and 3 conferences
Time line:
EB1b concurrent filed to TSC on 01/13/11; Both 140 and 485 was transferred
to NSC in early Jul (不知道什么原因，我们本来就是德州辖区的). Got RFE on 140
one week later, contribution 和 totality 没过.Submitted RFE response on 08/
25, got approval notice through email this morning.
RFE response experience:
RFE 是由著名的 NSC0002发的.公司律师就来了封信说，按要求准备材料吧，然后发给
我.我们公司那个律师极差，也就不指望她了.我们由于最初交的时候已经把"大多数材
料"都交了，就不知道还能准备些什么.在bbs学习了一下，同时得到了guaguoyuan和
hellolife热心解答和帮忙。知道要找一下journal杂志和其他的一些可以证明totality
的东西，但是在组织材料和选择材料上还是有些困惑。特别是response，不知怎么组织
。又加上当时工作上有deadline要meet,就想找个律师来做这件事情。写信问了几个bbs
上推荐的律师，刘律师回信说我的citation太低，他不能接，让我找别人。郭律师回信
说大概有70%的把握。跟郭律师聊了以后，我们选择了郭律师来帮我们做这个案子。
在整个过程中，郭律师一直很积极的回复我们的问题和与我们沟通关于准备材料的
strategy (always within a few hours).我们原来把所有的"contribution"project
都列在petition里了(5)，根据郭律师的建议，我们挑了两个最强的有商业应用的来写
，用新推荐信和客观证据来support. publication ,citation & review 列了最好的几
个ranking. 整个材料准备都贯彻郭律师强调的"less is more" strategy.
郭律师draft的response结构清晰简洁.根据他的建议我们重新整理了我们的exhibit，
整个package重点突出，简洁明了。我觉得像我们这样条件不是特别突出的申请，有一
个有经验的律师帮助我们包装一下是我们的以通过的很重要的原因。
