从学生F1转到H1B的话（博士后）的那种。这里应该很多前辈有经验？
另外是不是H1B拿到就可以办绿卡了？
还有H1B拿到之后是不是不能转lab了？如果是同一个学校的其他lab呢？

For your reference, my H-1B (extension, not the original filing) took 4 mont
hs at CSC.

For H-1B extension, I don't care. Coz I can continue to work with the

It took quite long at least from my friend's case. 4 months at least.

about 4 months. but you can use opt before that and just wait for it.

You are not allowed to work. So ask your PI to help you file H1B petition
ahead of time.
