I want to set my computer as ftp server, it works fine in local net. It is
behind a router, I configure it to open port 20 and 21 and redirect the
request to my computer. But from outside, I can log in, can pwd, but can not
ls, put, get, it report something like 500-illegal port. Do you know what may
be wrong? how to solve this?

don't use PASV mode in your FTP client software
