I think these two work together killed the software industry, in terms of
application software developers. Programs developed in Java is so easy to
maintain and Indian are cheap. I am going back to C/C++/Assembly.

This is not true. Java program won't be easy to maintain without sound
engineering practice.
So what if you can write an obscure C application? Indians can become
proficient in C as well.

With the same level of effort put on conforming enigneering practice,
Java programs turn out much more easier to maintain than C.
No doubt, there are very talented indian eningeers, but the number is small.
heheh, actually, among this is true regardless the races.
