有道理。有人说microsoft 很容易就卡在62级 上不去了，或者需要很长时间，这说法

本来就没多少区别。去不去seattle看个人喜好和position了。它家在seattle招人也不
是为了省钱。要省钱就直接搬到seattle了。

Firstly,depends on your group. Secondly,in general 61 has lower pressure on
promotion, usually you will be promoted in 2 yeas if your perfmance is good
which will show good upward trend, so hr will not give u pressure. 61 to 62
is much easier than 62 to 63. If a 62 level new hire cannot get promoted in
2or 3 years to 63which needs very good results, you will be in bad situation.

这个total很难说明level，stock给的多total comp也就多了。
i'm trying to find out the base range of these 2 levels. i don't think hr
tells
you the level...
