With at least 3 years of experience in Firmware/Software programming in
embedded Linux target, the candidate shall have a very good understanding of
ARM processor architecture and experience in product development with SOC
interfacing with manufacturer's SDK. Development experience with Ethernet
connectivity hardware such as switches, gateways, media converters, and
routers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, code and integrate software for an embedded Linux target
- Customization, deployment and maintenance of Linux distribution on
different hardware platforms
- Interact with Linux kernel and integrate new device drivers
- Improve and maintain existing software components
- Perform test unit, verification and validation of the product developed.
- Assist with the hardware design surrounding the processor and participate
in system wide architecture definition to ensure consistency across all
components
- Coordinate the transfer to production and drive the software bring up of
new platforms from zero to fully functional
Requirements: Experience, Skills & Abilities:
Deep and extensive knowledge of network protocols including layer 3
preferred
Experience with Linux kernel and networking stack
Minimum 3+ years C/C++, bash/shell
Education / Training:
BSEE/BSCS plus related experience
