Sure. But I'd say you didn't ask the question in a responsible manner and
2nd floor is purely bull shitting in the same irresponsible manner. So let'
s not be stupid, even if we are not the smartest ass on the planet.
Let's say, if Mark Z were quitting facebook today and doing a new startup
with 50M seed, and best of what, he would like to offer you a 0.5% for a VP
position. Would you even dare to say that too little?
Let's say, on the other hand, you were checking out in Costco, and the guy
standing in front of you, Mr. Gupta, told you that he's doing a startup with
150k seed. Everything is ready except for a developer, and he'd offer you
5% to be a VP in his company, will you be so excited with that?
So let's be reasonable here. You need to understand there're many factors
in analyzing such an offer, and following are 101s:
* What's the track record of founder(s)? GFS? DS?
* How much is seed round, and backed up by whom? What's the plan of burn
rate and hence the projected run way? What's the longer term (2 year) fund
raising plan?
* How many other C or VP level people are hired? Especially, assuming you'
re taking VPE, is there already a cofounder and CTO? If so, are you
reporting to CTO or CEO?
* How big is the team?
* What is the striking price of the stock options? Is there 83(b) supported?
* What is your salary with this offer? Look, taking 200k is different from
taking 80k per year, especially in seed level startups.
Without providing such basic information, I don't even know why the hell you
bother to ask this question here.

a轮之后的vp股权我知道的guideline 是.75—1%左右，看invester就是了
