看了这篇文章以后，我决定再也不从amazon购物了 (转载)

I had some idea that Amazon was a tough, demanding place to work, but the
conditions described in this article are sickening. It makes me question why
I would want to continue to buy from a company that treats its employees so
poorly. The thought that someone is working on a holiday or vacation or
interrupting time with their kids to figure out why I abandoned a shopping
cart makes me ill. Then there are the fulfillment warehouses and how they
are run. Horrible. Obviously Bezos doesn't care as long as the money keeps
piling up for himself and his shareholders.

Midway through this article, after reading stories of how employees going
through devastating personal losses were treated, I cancelled my Audible
membership, deleted my Kindle app, and will no longer be shopping from
Amazon. I cannot support a company that so purposefully creates a negative
environment for its employees. It's disgusting, it's immoral, and I hope
others feel the same after reading this article.

We have an 80 year snapshot of existence out of eternity and people want to
piss it away under fluorescent tubes in a shitty little cubicle just to
generate wealth for the people above us? Fuck that.

如果亚麻不大幅度提高membership fee, 我还是会继续amazon
prime几年。
不过现在我已经逐渐转用google shopping express,
主要是快。早上订，下午就收到了。就点几个buttons, 比我开着车／转几
家店／装车卸货，要省心多了。

当天送货对我这种懒人很受用。现在越来越少到店家买东西。
经常是到临头发现家里缺什么，比如某种猫粮，猫土，tissue等等。
早上订，照常去上班，反正当天送到家门口，下班回家就什么都有了。
这样避免家里急需什么，还得开车到处逛，反正我比较少买生鲜，
最多两周到sprouts或是亚洲店之类买点水果海鲜，顺道把油加了。

做电商物流的运作压力非常大的，没有这么mean的管理方式，客户的包裹就会出问题。
到时候大量投诉电话打进来，又增加运营成本。本来电商就是利润率不高的行业，那就
只能赔钱了。

跟干仓储物流的工作环境比，马工绝对是福利院了，没啥可抱怨的

零售，物流都是要靠压榨打掉人的惰性才能做好，做低价格。现在生活中享受到的低价
物品，超段时间运输，其实背后就是建立在压榨的基础上。要求相关企业又要提供方便
，又要提供人文关怀，怎么可能，因为人的本能是追求安逸和懒惰。所以这类企业的
reputation都不好，walmart就是另一个例子。

你的方便是建立在狗狗大量烧钱的基础上，现在这种送水上门的做法就是有病，要么大
幅度提高会员费，要么关门大吉
拼物流，狗狗比沃尔玛都差远了，何况亚麻

Two friends of mine worked there, seasoned, competent people, with tons of
experience. They were used to working in competitive, high-pressure
environments, e.g. investment banks, software companies, etc. Both said it
was the worst place they've ever worked and lasted about 18 months before
they found other jobs. Company culture is horrible with no work/life balance
and people treat each other like shit with tons of infighting.

因為這個名字響亮，所以很多人想要build resume。Amazon平均工作時間只有一年多而
已，像這種公司都必須靠壓榨剛畢業的嫩肉，所以只要有不注重work life
balance的畢業生想要build resume他們就可以一直找到員工。

选不选亚麻跟注重work life balance与否有关系，
但不是太大，跟人能不能拿到更好的薪资待遇有很大关系。
在flg一样有工作非常努力的毕业生，
比如亚麻有oncall,谷歌也有oncall，为什么很少见到
谷歌的人抱怨oncall呢？

一毕业就可以拿十几万还想怎样？不想累可以去传统企业拿个五六万啊
