Job Location: San Ramon, CA
Job Description:
* Develop C code for embedded platforms, such as Intel Edison, Intel Quark,
and other microcontrollers and processors. Experience with node.js, C++ a
plus.
* Interface with customers and partners, to define embedded requirements,
implement them, and test them.
* Support creation of demonstration platforms.
* Interface with application and server developers, in the US and India.
* Travel as needed to meet with partners, customers and other team members.
Skills/Experience
* Experience with version control, especially git.
* At least 10 years of experience developing software in an embedded
environment.
* Experience working directly with hardware, including some soldering.
* Ability to debug software running on embedded systems.
* Ability to use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other basic lab
equipment.
* Fluent knowledge of C, and some C++.
* Experience with linux, especially in an embedded environment.
* Experience in embedded development without a full operating system.
* Ability to independently plan, manage and complete projects on time.
* Ability to communicate embedded software ideas to non-technical people,
and others not well-versed in embedded software.
* Ability to mange multiple tasks concurrently.
Base Salary: $150K - $180K
