Jan VB is from 03/2008 to 01/2009 9个月
根据我查到的TSC号码， 1月5号到1月31号TSC一共收到36k的申请，这些申请主要包括
I131,485, i765. 1月2号到5号的很多已经批准了，查不到，但是估计数量不会少。36k
/3=12k的demand.这些demand包括 亲属移民和职业移民。如果NSC和TSC case一样多，
JAN递上去的总数会超过24k，如果算上假期因素，这个数目可能大很多。
全年亲属移民，职业移民，EB1，一共140k. 因为EB1和FAMILY BASE每个月的批准量都
相对固定。平均下来一个月supply 12k个名额 (140k/12=12k)的名额。所以24k（JAN总
数）-12k（每个月平均supply）＝12k.
注意： 这个12K是新增的在 03/08到01/09PD的EB2（demand>supply）。每个月12k的
supply包括了一部分EB2和部分EB1 SO.
这样平均一个月12k的assumption SUPPLY, 今年年底就没有SO，因为EB1,EB5的so都算
在平均到每个月消耗掉。
EB2自己有40k名额，MR O说已经用了20K，因为JAN 的VB，新增了12k的eb2ic demand.
一共就占了32k名额，还剩下40k-32k＝8k名额。
FEB VB 前进一年，会新增更多的 ebic demand，完全超过了今年的supply 了，而且会
超不少
所以今年2012年10月，能批准到03/09已经不错了
当然，这些算数都很粗糙，都是大概估计。

经过这次征婚事件，我内心深受打击，我明白了，就算我再好，要是总在这里灌水的话
，永远找不到老婆了。所以我决定再也不在MIT上灌水了，好好重新做人，争取找个好
老婆。把时间用在工作和学习中，空出的时间用在追求女孩中。感谢大家对我的批评和

这个36K应该是所有的cases,包括什么H1B, PERM,539.一个中心一个月收到36K移民签证
是不大可能的（我没有去查具体数字）。

按你的计算8K，可网上绝大部分11，12月交的都还没有批。剩下的名额不到8千了，那
不是连2008年的都批不完吗？ 我以前估计的也是到2008年的8，9 月左右

based on his data, about 30% cases are 485, so your assumption is not too
off.
I checked TSC cases also, the case numbers from Dec.30 to Jan.30 are:from
SRC1290094865 to SRC1290137350, total 42485 cases. If assume 30% is 485, the
total 485 demand generated in Jan is 12.75k. slightly higher than your
estimate.
now the big unknown is NSC data, hope someone can do a similar sampling on
NSC data so we can get a clearer picture.....

1. Family does not belong to EB 140k. Their demand is not negligible. Their
quota is 226k annually.
2. NSC is not the same as TSC. You cannot just double.
3. 90% is too high.
4. If half of the petitions are ROW, their numbers should multiply by 4 (as
they will file 140 as well), intead of 3. Thus, when you calculate the
demand, assuming half come from ROW, the divider should be 3.5 instead of 3.

yes, I think so.
If 12K 485 demand is for all EB, that is the average number per month (14K/
12=12K)

I doubt it.
140k EB quota every year. EB2 C/I had 6k quota plus 34k SO (most ever) last
year. This indicates EB1/EB2-ROW/EB3 demand is at least 100k per year. If
EB3 got full 40k, EB1/EB2ROW should have 60k, which is 5k per month at least.

Please check the inventory data released in Jan 2012. There is no way that
EB1/EB2row number would reach 5K per month.

It makes perfect sense for demand to reach 5k per month.
When a EB1/EB2ROW becomes "inventory", it usually takes less than a month (
actually only several days) to remove it from inventory as visa number is
always available. The numbers you see in the inventory report is the last
few days' inventory before the cutoff date.
For example, assuming the average processing time is 5 business days,
multiply the inventory number by 22/5 is the actual demand per month. 22 is
the number of business days in a month.
