1. If you get your EAD card, does that mean you can do any kind of jobs in
the US, e.g.,something unrelated to your major?
2. if you get your EAD card while you are still in school, can you start
working before you graduate?

晕死～ 催催律师终于在５／４号寄出我的和lg的485. 其实在07年我们已经filed了，
老公主申请，但是他的PD是05年6月初，我的是3/25。因为我的traditional LC慢，所
以没赶上大潮。５月我current了，新file的485，连receipt还没有。估计还要FP什么
的。6月1 LG current就可以直接service request了。估计还是他的比我的快。就是又
浪费了２０００多快３０００块钱。哎，希望早点批了，浪费钱就浪费吧。
５月份可能白做，又不得不做的。
renew my h1b (Aug过期，公司掏钱，还好。）
renew LG EAD (Aug过期，自己掏钱）
重新485体检，２人，自己掏钱
LG的485 (dependent自己掏钱)
如果O让June 2005的提早current一个月，我们就省了这么多麻烦了。

我目前是F1 OPT 身份 ， 想贷款买房。 问了几个agent， 都说不太确定，可以试试看
。 因为要1个月close，如果贷款出问题就很麻烦。他们贷款处理时间最快也要4周，我
能不能在2个agent 同时申请？ 那家申请到算那家。这样有没有问题？

1. No. Your job has to be related to your major.
2. There is a start date on EAD. You can start work after that date.

你可以同時申請兩個 loan
到時候不要忘記 cancel 掉其中一個就是了

Is your EAD related to your OPT or your pending I-485?
1. If it is an OPT EAD, you can only get jobs related to your major, but you
can change jobs within your major.
2. If it is due to a pending I-485, and you are the primary applicant, you
must keep a full time job that is the same or similar to the one you held
when you submitted I-485, and at the same time, you can do multiple jobs
like Ebay, consulting, or your own business;
3. If it is due to a pending I-485, and you are the spouse of a primary
applicant, you can work for any employer like a green card holder.

Actually my EAD card is due to a pending I-485, but my I-485 is based on
marriage to a US citizen. My situation is similar to (2), but I have
been a student all the time and don't have a full-time job. So can I do
a part time job now while I'm still a student?

我也听说了，但是我们公司律师非让重交。说我原来filed是dependent based，现在是
employment based。

他也没有说错，扣字眼的话，确实不行。但实际上移民局操作上有的都是自动relink，
连申请都不用。不过已经交了就安心等好消息吧
