Quote from my AMEX surpass bill statemetn that just came out:

"Effective with your first billing period that begins on or after May 1,
2013, you will no longer earn additional points for eligible purchases at
drugstores, wireless and home telephone services, cable and satellite TV and
internet service providers. Instead, you will earn 6 points (3 points plus
3 additional points) on eligible purchases at U.S. restaurants."

I guess the regular HH card with no annual fee could only be the same or
worse.

刚跟律师通话讨论EB1的RFE问题，我顺便就问问EB2降级的事情。很不幸，律师说公司
的政策是这些升级过的人不Qualify EB2-〉EB3降级Project，不管是从EB2升级到EB1还
是从EB3升级到EB2的。律师解释说，这不是移民局的限制，是公司为维护自身的信誉而
制定的政策。他们可以理解大家都是为了尽快拿到绿卡，但单纯的升级或者降级好解释
，可一会上一会下的就很难有合理的解释，容易被质疑：这人或者个职位到底在干什么？
律师没有明确说不行，但说只有等EB1的RFE提交以后有个结果再讨论要不要降级。。。
。估计那时候EB3已经回退了啊。

just settle down and focus on eb1. you already saw eb3 trend from fy13 data,
don't waste your time. and treat the company's decision as a good excuse to
forget about eb3 fiasco. good luck.

This is from regular HH card:
=========================
"Effective with your first billing period that begins on or after May 1,
2013, you will no longer earn additional points for eligible purchases at

internet service providers, and you will earn only 2 additional points (
instead of 3) for each dollar of eligible purchases at U.S. supermarkets and
U.S. gas stations. However, you will earn 5 points (3 points plus 2
additional points) on eligible purchases at U.S. restaurants."
