房子很老，60年代的，刚做完inspection，在Attic里面发现了mold。房检报告上写着:
"Some suspected mildew/mold stains were noted on the attic sheathing." Attic
是有Fan的，不知道为什么会有mold。想请教一下，不知道这个问题严不严重。

Roof没发现有漏的地方。房子还有别的一些问题，包括主卫的瓷砖松动，厨房的瓷砖很
多都有裂缝。。已经是第二个做Inspection的房子了，第一个因为白蚁问题太严重已经
放弃了。这个也有白蚁问题，但应该没有第一个严重。seller态度很坚决，只肯给2000
刀的credit，不知道该怎么办了。。

mold is bad to health
you need to find the reason that causes the mold and solve it. Otherwise,
mold will come back if you just replace the mold boards. I would think
termite is more tolerable. But if you can find and fix the mold "source", it
is OK

mold in attic is no big deal. its probably caused from a prior leak. i
would first make sure roof is ok then hire a contractor to clean up mold.
it is not in the basement so no need to worry about water infiltration. i
sold a house earlier this year and was caught to have mold in crawl space.
i had to order mold remediation by a licensed contractor which cost me
almost $4k.
