if he/she owns the land up to the other side of the hill, actually, this
yard has much better privacy.

my back yard has a short knoll like this one, but it has a ~60 degree angle
to the house, so the backside view is not blocked. I have a lot of shrubs
and several retaining walls (left from the previous owner) across the knoll
to secure the soil (actually, a lot of rocks underneath)
