According to a new survey by Spiceworks, 96% of IT Pros are interested in
Windows 10 while 60% of the IT departments are already testing the Windows
10 Technical Preview. Interestingly enough, 40% of companies are planning to
updating to Windows 10 withing the first year of the operating system’s
initial release, while 33% of the companies are expecting to upgrade to
Windows 10 with two years of the operating system’s initial release.
Surprisingly enough, 51% of IT professionals are planning to upgrade to
Windows 10 to get better security features while 64% are interested in the
new Start Menu. However, 55% of the respondents are interested in the free
upgrade offer from Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.
