是这样，想要终止现在的ATT/Cingular服务，换个公司。
ATT/Cingular说我０７年５月份开始一个新的两年计划，现在是提前终止，要罚$175
.00。而我认为我的计划应该从２００５年算起。为什么双方认识不同呢？
故事是这样的：
(１）背景：
其实我从２００３起一直在这个公司ATT，从没有终止过。这个公司的故事大
家大概也知道： ATT被Cingular并去了，现在又改回ATT这个名字, 反正就同一个公司。
(２）起因：
问题出在２００５年的时候，我因为其他事情到local的Cingular店去了。他
们建议说虽然公司并了，网络其实不同，让我从ATT＂升级＂到Cingular。我加引号
是因为：这个升级其实对我是一样的价钱，一样分钟数；所谓的升级只是对他们来说
的，给了我个不同技术的网络。所以我那时也觉得莫名奇妙.
不管怎样，那时我大概说了无所谓，或者行（记不清楚），几天后他们给我
寄来了一个不咋样的新手机。可是我是两年后，也就是去年２００７年，因为旧手
机坏了，才到店里把这个新手机启用，那

I once had a dispute with Cingular. We kept arguing back and forth, but they
wouldn't cave in, so I complained to the California Public Utilities
Commission, insisting they cheated me.
As soon as CPUC told me they had received my complaint, Cingular called me
and said they would do everything my way. I saved about $700.
If you live outside California, look for a similar public agency, and file a
complaint.

Yes, CPUC did contact Cingular because when Cingular contacted me for the
final time, they said "CPUC has notified us of your complaint. We're now
waiving the charges on your account..."

If you change a new cell phone, you should sign another 2 years plan.
However, it is true that only you activated your new cell phone, that new
plan started. It is a little trickly that you can only return your new cell
phone within 3 month. But before you activate your new phone, you can close
your account any time but they will charge your cell phone price.

如果你没有签新的合同（2年），你的手机花钱了没？
我的感觉就是你签了新的合同，他们给你免费的新手机

He of course got new 2 years plan. His question is the new plan start from
when he accept the new cell phone or he activate the new cell phone.
