过去在学校，一直用学校提供的IRS (Internal Revenue Service)网络软件软件报税，
只需要填写必要的东西，然后它自动生成报表，打印出来，你自己寄出去就可以了。
现在毕业一年了，身份变成了H1,不能再用了，想找个合适的软件帮助报税，不知道用
什么样的软件比较方便。

N!年以前我从一所不咋的学校本科毕业，高考语文政治废了我狂高的数理化。N2年后走
出有机所来美国（查查本版“有机所的故事”）。人一生追逐，无非名利。无论你如
何清高坦荡，是男人你逃不出这两个字的。我虽顶礼膜拜科学，却认为当PROFESSOR轻
慢多年所学（并非全是科学理论），也对不住妻子儿女。只希望各位AP或FP善待自己的
学生。既为人师，多思量教书育人为重，几篇PAPER何足道哉。在此深深感谢我PHD导师。
废话少说，一点人生经历，只对DDMM有用。
不劝退了，虽然我写过劝退篇。但我仍不收回我所说。
1. 如果你现在要进组找导师了。记住几乎一般美国大学

软件都差不多，如果工资不高，irs网上有一堆免费的软件

The only advantage that kubuntu has over other KDE distro is it is easy to
install GNOME based ubuntu softwares. sudo apt-get install.
For KDE/qt softwares, it is as easy to install it under opensuse, and it
doesn't involve terminal! You go to webpin (package.opensuse.org) , search
for the software, then, use the 1 click install!
kubuntu has PPA, and opensuse has OBS(open build service) too.

Oh and one more thing, you still need a lot of ubuntu's gtk based utilities
to configure system.
On opensuse, you have yast2. :)

And the good job opensuse did to integrate (at least look wise) firefox into
KDE4 environment.

The problem lies with the third party applications, which tend to only
support the most popular distros.
Kubuntu might be less polished than OpenSuse, but it enjoys the gernal
popularity of Ubuntu.

In OpenSUSE, Firefox's file open/save dialog uses KDE's instead of GTK's,
and notification (e.g. download complete) also uses KDE's instead of its own.

System-tuning is very rarely needed.

ubuntu might be popular, but a wide range of best softwares are still under
KDE.
Ever used choqok? Best twitter client. :)
KDE softwares are usually better designed and far more polished.
And why ubuntu is popular? because of PPA.
I said opensuse has its own "ppa" too. I haven't seen anything that only has
kubuntu ppa, but no opensuse obs yet.

My issue is that I need to install SAGE, which has supported Ubuntu 9.1 but
not OpenSuse 11.2 yet. It is a waiting game. :-(

same. both matlab and numpy are just wrappers for intel mkl.
