which duplex is good# Living

I have seen two duplex in same area, and don't know which one to choose.
Please give advice.We live in MA. We have a daughter 2 years old and want to
live there for 5 years, not sure if we will have another kid within this
time.
1,asking 290000$. built in 1982. 1200 sqft. ?very good inside. 1.5 bath, two
bed room.
fabulous kitchen. Finished basement. Share a big back yard with around 3 more
family. And we are in the side away from backyard and we don't have a deck.
For this one, We love inside v
