It's a good and cheap solution for universal remote.
Go to buy a one-for-all universal remote(8-device URC-8810.
go to www.hovisdirect.com to buy a JP1 cable for $14
Then you can use the JP1 cable to hook the remote to your PC's parallel
port. Then you can modify/upgrade the remote's codes(remote has a built-in
EEPROM and JP1 connector).
Check groups.yahoo.com/group/jp1 for updated device codes (I found my
Daewoo DVD code there which is not supported in original databa
