周一打电话要求OPT加急
可是到现在还没收到任何email
看版上大家都是打电话后第二天就可以收到email
为啥我没有收到呢
他们给了一个request service number，有啥用啊？或者从哪里可以查这个request的
status啊？

房子过户5个月一直没收到房产证，今天突然收到一封从National Deed Service, INC.
来的信，说是要寄给他们$79.5才能收到Deed，我一直以为房产证是免费从county拿到
的，难道不是这样的吗？

if you have a mortgage, you may or may not have a deed... all you need is
title insurance in this case.

应该是付清房贷了后才有的。付清之前是需要在过户的时候买owner's insurance.

今天我的lender告诉我close后一个月左右county会寄一个deed of trust之类的.也可
以大概半个月后去county那里pick up.至于房产证应该是付清贷款以后的事了吧.

The deed is the proof of your ownership of the property. It's not like you
buying a car, you get the proof of ownership after you pay off the loan.
When you buy a property, you can get it at the beginning, free from your
county office. The deed is 房产证.
As to the owner's title insurance, it's optional in many states, but of
course it's only a little money to buy it, so why not. Anyhow, it has
nothing to do with the deed.
