第一个NSF awarded grant，刚收到 awarded 的通知，但是 budget 少了不少。
PM 也没有说任何 rule，因为跟 requested 的不一样，不知道该怎么花呢？
必须 divided by 年数 uniformly 么？还是可以最近年花多点，后面花少点？

就按照修改之后的Budget来花呗。

别的没有必须的了。

好好看看Award letter, 是不是continuous award, 先给你前几年的budget?

Don't know about NSF, but NIH modular budget is getting a 10-20% cut for
years now. So, you just have to find a way to do the project with less
money. If you try to fight it, the funding agency can always just decide
not to fund you.
