What is your PD and RD?
If you submited the 485 long time ago, they probably just want check to see if you still employed in similar job category. all you need to do is send them a new EVL.

Can you keep us posted what you provide for REF? I am on the same boat as
you, but my GC hasn't been processed yet. I think you need to ask your
company lawyer to write you a letter, but I am not sure if you can ask HR to
provide evidence for employment as well. Wish we all good luck !
