I let an agent from LongEnergy (LongFence) have an inspection my home
energy usage last saturday. His recommendation to me is to install Radiant
Barrier which blocks heat radiation transfer between ceiling and roof. The
quote (include materials and labor) for 1300 sft ceiling area he gave me
is about $3K discounted from regular $4K. Does Radiant Barrier work? Is
the price reasonable? Would appreciate very much if you could share your
knowledge and experience.
