在自己的房子里过第一个冬天。下了几场比较大的雪，屋顶上还有比较厚的积雪。这两
天看了看邻居家的房子，屋顶下都吊着比较多的冰棒子（roof icycle），可是我自己
家的屋顶几乎一点也没有。房顶的材料是shingle 的。而有些metal roof的房子，屋顶
上的雪都几乎没有了。想问问大家这种情况是我们家的房子屋顶有问题还是怎的？

Can anyone explain why?
I am also a little concerned that if the snow does not melt, the accumulated
weight could be too heavy for the house. As a matter of fact, it is snowing
again now.

看房子的位置，有时候旁边的树木多少高低都有影响。。还有可能是说明你们家的排水
槽很好。
