我们打算近期买房。学区是首要考虑.现在我们有两个选项.拿不定主意. 请本版XDJMs
给提些建议.
学区1：房子小,但房子离小学很近,大概走路十分钟,学校亚裔很多,占到将近一半, 学
生平均成绩也很好.
学区2：房子好很多但离小学有四迈远。学校白人占90%,亚裔只占5%,学校质量与学区1
相当但学生成绩略差
我们很喜欢学区2的房子但又担心学校里亚裔太少孩子不适应。请问各位家长这是一个
很大的问题吗？多谢了！

没有经验, 不过觉得院子不大, 机动的又太吵, 想买个手推的
请问什么牌子型号比较好?

美国这个移民制度（包括整个签证制度）真是极品中的 f-22
要是没有这些乱七八糟的制度来困扰大家，生产力至少上两个档次

要我就选2。
一是小学成绩没那么重要，二是我也做不到为了孩子就完全不顾自己的生活质量。

手推的那种homedepot还是lowes有，就是一个轮子那种。只能割比较矮的草，
长高了就割不断了。所以要经常割。

两个学区听起来都不错。如果是我的话，比较倾向于1。

另外你们有几个娃，准备一共要几个？这跟房子大小都有关系。

we have 3 children and dont plan to have more. the small house is 2100 sq
feet and needs sig. innovation but it's close to the school and 5 minutes to
our work place. the large one is 3000 sq feet, move-in ready, and 15
minutes to work place.
Our main concern is whether our children will be comfortable in the an
environment dominated by the Whites (90%+).

确实比较不好办，而且我看到你有3娃就景仰地快晕过去了。：)
2100对仨娃是稍微小了点，但是其它优点貌似比2要强些。
你们能否暂时在2先租房，让孩子试试学校再做决定？反正现在房价还没有马上抬头的
趋势，可以再等一两年。

how many Asians in the white neighborhood? if more than 5% then they should
be fine. kids adapt to new environments fairly quickly if you help them make
new friends. it would be ideal to have neighbors with kids of similar age,
so they go to school together and look out for each other. if you move to
the new neighborhood before summer, your kids will be able to play with
other kids and make friends before school starts.
problems with house 1: 2100 sq ft is barely enough for 3 kids, probably not
enough when grandparents come over. the repairs will take up lots of energy
and money. last but not least, your kids will have to face the white
dominated environment sooner or later, better not wait til they're teens or
in college, hehe

my personal experience is that asian has to be at least 20%. Otherwise, the
kids never feel that they can be the leader of the class.

搭车问一下孩子上亚裔多的学校好不好？我认识一个abc，性格很好很聪明，很谦让有
礼，他就想让自己孩子上白人多的学校。他也不觉得老美自私。为啥？

Thanks for all your suggestions.We finally found a larger house in 学区 1
and hope to close smoothly.
