short sale approved "SOLD AS IS". After inspections, there are some repairs
such as roof,gutter repair, painting. No major issues. Is it safe for me to
ask repair credits from bank?
I just want to know if asking 10k credit for repairs worth the risk or not?
I like the house very much and don't want to lose the opportunity. What
chance it could make bank to kill the entire deal? Thanks in advance.
Here is my agent response:
Ok, I will do that. I just want to make sure that you understand that there
is a risk that they will not accept this and could potentially kill the
entire deal, moving on to a back-up offer. I cannot say this will for sure
be the case but it is possible. It will probably not be able to get
submitted until tomorrow since the bids will not be in yet.
I believe this is somewhat risky and that if you really want this house the
way it is that you are getting a great deal at the current price/terms.
You have already invest $1,000 in inspections/appraisal and your time.
Perhaps once the appraisal comes in you might see it differently or want to
sleep on it. I will get the items prepared but I would make sure you are
completely comfortable with this decision before doing so.
